Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Front of House Manager to lead our service team and ensure every guest receives an outstanding experience. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised, hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team. You will be responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations, maintaining high service standards, and contributing to the overall success of the establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Management:Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise all front-of-house staff (e.g., waiting staff, hosts/hostesses, bartenders, baristas, receptionists).
- Develop staff schedules, manage breaks, and ensure adequate staffing levels for all shifts.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate ongoing training and development.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
- Address staff concerns and resolve conflicts fairly and efficiently.
- Guest Experience & Service Excellence:Oversee all aspects of guest service, ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and memorable experience from arrival to departure.
- Proactively engage with guests, building rapport and addressing any feedback or concerns promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain exceptionally high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation in all front-of-house areas.
- Handle reservations, seating arrangements, and special requests with precision.
- Operational Management:Oversee the efficient running of the dining room, bar, reception, or relevant front-of-house areas during service periods.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, reporting, and securing the premises.
- Monitor and manage inventory of front-of-house supplies (e.g., linens, cutlery, glassware, beverages) and ensure efficient ordering and stock rotation.
- Work closely with the kitchen/back-of-house team to ensure seamless communication and service flow.
- Implement and enforce all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Handle administrative tasks such as payroll input, reporting, and communication with suppliers.
- Financial & Performance:Contribute to achieving sales targets and managing labour costs effectively.
- Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and implement strategies for improvement.

Skills & Qualifications:
